To unlock each Rank of the Skill above rank 1, you need to complete a challenge. The challenges for the Spacesuit Design Ranks are:
- Rank 1: Craft 5 spacesuits, helmets, and pack mods.
- Rank 2: Craft 15 spacesuits, helmets, and pack mods.
- Rank 3: Craft 30 spacesuits, helmets, and pack mods.
