Necromancer Skills

Necromancer Skills in Diablo 4 are special Class Skills, that only the Necromancer can use. The Necromancer Class in Diablo 4, is the Class of death that can summon minions or play alone! Necromancer can deal strong Shadow or Physical damage, depending on your choices. Their skills are divided in seven categories:

The Necromancer has access to Active and Passive skills. You can upgrade most Active skills up to five times and Passive skills up to three times. Almost every active skill offers an enhanced version and two upgrades from which you can choose one. Ultimate and Key Passive skills are powerful abilities that will define your play style. Because of this you can choose only one active Ultimate Skill and only one Key Passive!

Necromancer Basic Skills

The Necromancer’s basic skills deal Shadow or Physical damage, can create Blood Orbs and generate Essence. Essence is required by other, more powerful Necromancer skills. Below you can find all Necromancer Basic Skills.

Lucky Hit Chance: 17%
Sweep an ethereal scythe in front of you, dealing 3 damage. Hitting an enemy with Reap increases your Damage Reduction by 15% for 2 seconds.
Shadow damage.
Enhanced Reap
If an enemy hit by Reap dies within 2 seconds, you gain 30% Attack Speed for 3 seconds.
Acolyte's Reap
Reap forms a Corpse under the first enemy hit. Can only occur every 4 seconds.
Initiate's Reap
Reap instantly kills targets below 5% Life. This does not work on Bosses or players.

Decompose(1/5)

 Generate Essence: 8 per second
Lucky Hit Chance: 40%

Tear the flesh from an enemy, dealing 8 damage per second and forming a usable Corpse with the flesh every 1.5 seconds.
Shadow damage
Enhanced Decompose
 If an enemy dies while being Decomposed, you gain 10 essence.
Acolyte's Decompose
Every 1.5 seconds, Decompose makes enemies Vulnerable for 4 seconds.
Initiate's Decompose
Decompose Slows enemies by 50%, and if you channel Decompose for at least 1.5 seconds, you gain 30%[+] Movement Speed for 5 second after ending the channel.

Hemorrhage

 Generate Essence: 9
Lucky Hit Chance: 35%

Burst an enemy's blood, dealing 6-7 damage. Hemorrhage has a 20% chance to form a Blood Orb.
Physical Damage
Enhanced Hemorrhage
 After picking up a Blood Orb, your next Hemorrhage also deals damage to enemies around your target and grants 2 additional Essence per enemy hit.
Acolyte's Hemorrhage
Hemorrhage gains an additional 20% Attack Speed while Healthy.
Initiate's Hemorrhage
Hemorrhage grants 1.6% Maximum Life as Fortify each time it hits an enemy, and has a 1.5% chance per enemy hit to Fortify you for 100% Maximum Life.

Bone Splinters(1/5)

Generate Essence: 7
Lucky Hit Chance: 17%

Fire 3 Bone Splinters, dealing 2 damage each. Each subsequent time an enemy is hit by the same cast of Bone Splinters, you gain 1 Essence.
Physical Damage.
Enhanced Bone Splinters
Bone Splinters has a 25% chance to fire 2 additional projectiles if cast while you have 50 or more essence.
Acolyte's Bone Splinters
Hitting the same enemy at least 3 times with the same cast of Bone Splinters grants 8% Critical Strike Chance for 4 seconds.
Initiate's Bone Splinters
Bone Splinters has a 20% chance per hit to make enemies Vulnerable for 2 seconds.

Blood Lance

Lucky Hit Chance: 33%
Throw a blood lance that lingers in an enemy for 3 seconds, dealing 17-21 damage to the enemy and all other lanced enemies.
Physical Damage.
Enhanced Blood Lance
Blood Lance pierces through enemies who are currently lanced, dealing 10% reduced damage to subsequent enemies after the first.
Paranormal Blood Lance
While at least 2 enemies or a Boss are affected by Blood Lance, you gain 15% Attack Speed and Blood Lance's Essence cost is reduced by 3.
Supernatural Blood Lance
After casting Blood Lance 6 times, your next cast of Blood Lance is guaranteed to Overpower and spawns a Blood Orb under the first enemy hit.

Blood Surge(1/5)

 Essence Cost: 30
Lucky Hit Chance: 12%
Draw blood from enemies, dealing 5-6 damage, and expel a blood nova, dealing 12-15 damage. Blood Surge's nova damage is increased by 10% per enemy drained, up to 50%
Physical damage
Enhanced Blood Surge
 Blood Surge Heals you for 3% of your Maximum Life when drawing blood from enemies. If 4 or more enemies are drawn from, then Heal for an additional 2.5% of your Maximum Life.
Paranormal Blood Surge
If an enemy is damaged by Blood Surge's nova while you are Healthy, then gain 1 stack of Overwhelming Blood. When you have 5 stacks of Overwhelming Blood, your next Blood Surge Overpowers.
Supernatural Blood Surge
Each time an enemy is hit by Blood Surge's nova, you are Fortified for 1% Maximum Life. While you have Fortify for over 50% of your Maximum Life, Blood Surge deals 20% increased damage.

Blight

 Essence Cost: 25
Lucky Hit Chance: 40%

Unleash concentrated blight that deals 7-9 damage and leaves behind a defiled area, dealing 22 damage over 6 seconds.
Shadow Damage
Enhanced Blight
 Blight Slows enemies by 25%.
Paranormal Blight
Blight has a 30% chance to Immobilize enemies for 1.5 seconds on impact.
Supernatural Blight
You and your Minions deal 15% increased damage to enemies within Blight.

Sever(1/5)

Essence Cost: 20
Lucky Hit Chance: 20%

A specter of you charges forward and attacks with its scythe for 16-19 damage then returns to you and attacks again for 5-6 damage.
Shadow Damage.
Enhanced Sever
Sever damages enemies along its path for 40% of its initial damage.
Paranormal Sever
Every 3rd cast of Sever makes enemies Vulnerable for 2 seconds.
Supernatural Sever
Sever deals 2% increased damage for each Minion you have upon cast.

Bone Spear(1/5)
Essence Cost: 25
Lucky Hit Chance: 50%

Conjure a bone spear from the ground, dealing 21-26 damage and piercing through enemies.
Physical damage
Enhanced Bone Spear
Bone Spear breaks into 3 shards when it is destroyed, dealing 6-7 damage each.
Paranormal Bone Spear
Bone Spear has a 5% increased Critical Strike Chance. If Bone Spear's primary projectile Critically Strikes, it fires 2 additional bone shards upon being destroyed.
Supernatural Bone Spear
Bone Spear makes the first enemy hit Vulnerable for 3 seconds.

Unliving Energy(1/3)
PassiveYour maximum Essence is increased by 3.

Imperfectly Balanced(1/3)
PassiveYour Core Skills cost 3% more Essence, but deal 5% increased damage.

Hewed Flesh(1/3)
PassiveLucky Hit: Your damage has up to a 4% chance to create a Corpse at the target's location. This chance is doubled against Bosses.

Disperse into a bloody mist, becoming Immune for 3 seconds. Your Movement Speed is reduced by 20% and you periodically deal 1 damage to enemies and Heal for 0.5% of your Maximum Life.

Enhanced Blood Mist
Casting a Skill that Overpowers reduces the cooldown of Blood Mist by 2 seconds.
Dreadful Blood Mist
You gain +10% Critical Strike Chance for 4 seconds after Blood Mist ends.
Ghastly Blood Mist
Blood Mist leaves behind a Corpse every 1 second.

Corpse Explosion(1/5)

 Lucky Hit Chance: 25%
Detonate a Corpse, dealing 12-15 damage to surrounding enemies.
Physical damage.
Enhanced Corpse Explosion
 Corpse Explosion's radius is increased by 15%.
Blighted Corpse Explosion
Corpse Explosion becomes a Darkness skill and, instead of exploding, releases a vile miasma dealing 31 Shadow Damage over 6 seconds.
Plagued Corpse Explosion
Corpse Explosion deals 10% increased damage to enemies that are Slowed, Stunned or Vulnerable. These damage bonuses can stack.

Bone Prison
(1/5)
 Cooldown: 18 seconds
Unearth a prison of bone with 12 Life that surrounds the target area for 6 seconds.
Enhanced Bone Prison
 Enemies inside Bone Prison are Vulnerable.
Dreadful Bone Prison
Reduce your active cooldowns by 0.5 seconds for each enemy trapped by Bone Prison, up to 3 seconds.
Ghastly Bone Prison
If an enemy is trapped by Bone Prison, gain 15 Essence, plus an additional 5 per enemy trapped.

Spiked Armor(1/3)

PassiveGain 3 Thorns.

Skeletal Warrior Mastery(1/3)

PassiveIncrease the damage and Life of your Skeletal Warriors by 15%.

Grim Harvest(1/3)
PassiveConsuming a corpse generates 2 Essence.

Fueled by Death(1/3)
PassiveYou deal 3% increased damage for 6 seconds after consuming a Corpse.

Curse the target area. Enemies afflicted by Iron Maiden take 2-3 damage each time they deal direct damage. Lasts 10 seconds.

Enhanced Iron Maiden
Iron Maiden no longer costs Essence. Instead, gain 5 Essence for each enemy cursed. Does not work with enemies who are already cursed with Iron Maiden.
Abhorrent Iron Maiden
Heal for 7% of your Maximum Life when an enemy dies while afflicted with Iron Maiden.
Horrid Iron Maiden
When at least 3 enemies are afflicted by Iron Maiden, its damage is increased by 30%.

Decrepify(1/5)

 Essence Cost: 10
Curse the target area. Enemies afflicted by Decrepify are Slowed by 40% and deal 20% less damage for 10 seconds.

Enhanced Decrepify
 Lucky Hit: Enemies hit while afflicted with Decrepify have up to a 10% chance to be Stunned for 2 seconds.
Abhorrent Decrepify
Lucky Hit: Enemies hit while afflicted with Decrepify have up to a 15% chance to reduce your active Cooldowns by 1 second.
Horrid Decrepify
When you or your Minions hit an enemy afflicted with Decrepify below 10% Life, they are instantly killed. Does not work on Bosses.

Death's Embrace(1/3)

PassiveClose enemies take 2% more damage from you and deal 3% less damage to you.

Death's Reach(1/3)

PassiveYou deal 4% increased damage to Distant enemies.

Skeletal Mage Mastery(1/3)
PassiveIncrease the damage and life of your Skeletal Mages by 20%.

Amplify Damage(1/3)

Lucky Hit Chance: 20%
Veins burst out of a Corpse, Pulling in enemies, Stunning them for 3 seconds, and dealing 5-6 damage to them. Does not consume the corpse.

Enhanced Corpse Tendrils
Enemies who are in range of Corpse Tendrils are Slowed by 50% before being Pulled.
Blighted Corpse Tendrils
Corpse Tendrils has a 35% chance to drop a Blood Orb when damaging enemies.
Plagued Corpse Tendrils
Enemies damaged by Corpse Tendrils are made Vulnerable for 3 seconds.

Bone Spirit(1/5)

 Cooldown: 12 seconds
Essence Cost: All Remaining Essence
Lucky Hit Chance: 33%
Consume all of your Essence to conjure a spirit of bone that seeks enemies. Upon reaching an enemy, the spirit explodes, dealing 20-24 damage to the target and all surrounding enemies. Damage is increased by 4% for each point of Essence spent casting Bone Spirit.

Enhanced Bone Spirit
 If Bone Spirit critically strikes, its cooldown is reduced by 7 seconds. This effect can only happen once per cast.
Dreadful Bone Spirit
After Bone Spirit hits an enemy, you generate 30% Essence over the next 4 seconds.
Ghastly Bone Spirit
Bone Spirit has an additional 10% Critical Strike Chance.

Reaper's Pursuit(1/3)

PassiveDamaging enemies with Darkness Skills increases your movement speed by 5% for 3 Seconds.

Gloom(1/3)

PassiveWhen you damage enemies with Darkness Skills, they take 2% increased Shadow Damage from you and your Minions for 2 seconds, stacking up to 3 times.

Terror(1/3)
PassiveShadow damage deals 3% bonus damage to enemies who are slowed or chilled, and 3% bonus damage to enemies who are stunned, immobilized or frozen. These bonuses stack and apply to shadow damage dealt by your Minions.

Crippling Darkness(1/3)
PassiveLucky Hit: Darkness Skills have up to a 15% chance to Stun for 1 seconds.

Gruesome Mending(1/3)
PassiveReceive 10%+ more Healing from all sources.

Coalesced Blood(1/3)
PassiveWhile Healthy your Blood Skills deal 6% increased damage.

Drain Vitality(1/3)
PassiveLucky Hit: Hitting enemies with Blood Skills has up to a 30% chance to Fortify you for 2% Maximum Life.

Tides of Blood(1/3)

PassiveWhen a Corpse is formed from your Skills or your Minions, Fortify for 2% Maximum Life.

Serration(1/3)
PassiveYour Bone skills have a 0.3% increased Critical Strike Chance for each 10 Essence you have upon cast.

Rapid Ossification(1/3)
PassiveEvery 100 Essence you spend reduces the cooldowns of your Bone skills by 0.5 seconds.

Evulsion(1/3)
PassiveYour Bone Skills deal 5% increased Critical Strike Damage to Vulnerable enemies.

Compound Fracture(1/3)
PassiveAfter Critically Striking 10 times with Bone Skills, your Bone Skills deal 5% increased damage per 5 seconds.

Army of the Dead

 Cooldown: 70 seconds
Lucky Hit Chance: 64%

Call forth the deep buried dead. Volatile Skeletons emerge over the next 7 seconds that explode when around enemies, dealing 7-9 damage.

Prime Army of the Dead
 When Army of the Dead's Volatile Skeletons explode, they have a 100% chance to leave behind a Corpse.
Supreme Army of the Dead
Army of the Dead also raises your Skeletal Warriors and Skeletal Mages.

Bone Storm

 Cooldown: 60 seconds
Lucky Hit Chance: 40%
A swirling storm of bones appears around you and your Golem, dealing 45-56 damage to surrounding enemies over 10 seconds.

Prime Bone Storm
 Your damage reduction is increased by 15% while Bone Storm is active.
Supreme Bone Storm
Your Critical Strike Chance is increased by 20% while Bone Storm is active.

Golem Mastery(1/3)

PassiveIncrease the damage and Life of your Golem by 25%.

Inspiring Leader(1/3)

PassiveAfter you have been Healthy for at least 2 second, you and your Minions gain 4% Attack Speed.

Hellbent Commander(1/3)
PassiveYour Minions deal 10% increased damage while you are Close to them.

Bonded in Essence(1/3)
PassiveEvery 8 seconds, your Skeletal Priest's Healing will Heal your Skeletons for 20% of their Maximum Life.

Death's Defense(1/3)
PassiveYour Minions gain +4% Armor and 8% Resistance to All Elements.

Stand Alone(1/3)
PassiveIncreases Damage Reduction by 6% when you have no minions. Each active minion reduces this bonus by 2%.

Memento Mori(1/3)
PassiveSacrificing both Skeletal Warriors and Skeletal Mages increases their Sacrifice bonuses by 20%.

Rathma's Vigor

PassiveAfter being Healthy for 12 seconds, your next Blood Skill Overpowers. This timer is reduced by 2 seconds each time Blood Orbs Heal or Overheal you for an amount greater than or equal to your base Life.

Shadowblight

PassiveShadow damage infects enemies with Shadowblight for 2 seconds. Every 10th time an enemy receives Shadow damage from you or your Minions while they are affected by Shadowblight, they take an additional 22% Shadow damage. Shadowblight's damage is increased by 100% of your Shadow Damage over Time bonus.

Kalan's Edict

PassiveAfter you have not taken damage in the last 2 seconds, your Minions gain 15% Attack Speed. While you have at least 7 Minions, this bonus is doubled.
