1. Kjalnar’s Nightmare
Kjalnar’s Nightmare is a powerful DPS Monster Set for both Stamina and Magicka based Builds! It boosts damage and deals Magic damage reliably when you Light Attack your enemies. The Set requires good Light Attack Weaving to use it effectively, so this might be a problem for newer players.
The Head drops in Veteran Unhallowed Grave Dungeon and you can get the Shoulders piece from Urgarlag Chief-Bane. The Harrowstorm DLC is necessary to complete the set.
Zaan is a powerful fire damage based set. It can boost Critical Chance, which makes it good for both Stamina based and Magicka based Builds. Its special effect deals massive fire damage when you deal critical damage with Light or Heavy Attacks. Better to use with Magicka Builds and especially fire damage based Builds. However it can assist Hybrid or Stamina Builds as well.
The Head drops in Veteran Scalecaller Peak Dungeon and you can get the Shoulders piece from Urgarlag Chief-Bane. The Dragon Bones DLC is necessary to complete the set.
Stormfist is a strong and reliable DPS Set for Stamina based mostly builds. It boosts Stamina recovery and deals shock and physical damage to enemies! The set applies its effect with melee and ranged attacks which makes it quite flexible. Since it deals shock damage, Stormfist can be a good option for specific shock damage based, magicka Builds as well.
The Head drops in Veteran Tempest Island Dungeon and you can get the Shoulders piece from Glirion the Redbeard.
Selene is great for Stamina based Builds that deal melee damage. Boosts Stamina and summons a spirit to deal massive damage. A reliable DPS Set you can use.
The Head drops in Veteran Selene’s Web Dungeon and you can get the Shoulders piece from Glirion the Redbeard.
Like Selene is a great set for Stamina Builds, Ilambris is a great Set for Magicka based DPS Builds! Ilambris is also a good option for newer players. It boosts Magicka and deals AOE Flame and Shock damage. The effect is static and can help against multiple enemies.
The Head drops in Veteran Crypt of Hearts 1 Dungeon and you can get the Shoulders piece from Glirion the Redbeard.
Velidreth boosts damage and deals massive disease damage! You can trigger its effect with melee and ranged attacks which makes it good for Stamina and Magicka based builds. However the disease spores it spawns must be close to the enemy to be effective! This makes it a better option for close range builds.
The Head drops in Veteran Cradle of Shadows Dungeon and you can get the Shoulders piece from Urgarlag Chief-Bane. The Shadows of the Hist DLC is necessary to complete the set.
Slimecraw is a great set for any type of Build, Stamina or Magicka. Boosts Critical Chance and provides the Berserk Buff all the time. A very good option for new players that can help them increase their DPS early in the game.
The Head drops in Veteran Wayrest Sewers 1 Dungeon and you can get the Shoulders piece from Maj Al-Ragath.
8. Maw of the Infernal
Mostly a magicka based Set that you can use however with niche Stamina or Hybrid Builds if you wish. Maw of the Infernal boosts Magicka and summons a Daedroth that deals strong fire damage! Great set to use with Sorcerer Pet Builds like Overlord or fire damage based Builds.
The Head drops in Veteran Banished Cells 2 Dungeon and you can get the Shoulders piece from Maj Al-Ragath.
Another magicka focused Set that boosts maximum Magicka and deals strong AOE fire damage! Grothdarr is a great option for fire damage based Builds but you can also use it with stamina builds for its AOE damage.
The Head drops in Veteran Vaults of Madness Dungeon and you can get the Shoulders piece from Glirion the Redbeard.
Although Iceheart is primarily a defensive Set, used mostly in Solo PVE Builds, it can be a great DPS Set when combined with Frost damage based Builds, like Ice Queen! It boosts Critical Chance and deals Frost damage to enemies!
The Head drops in Veteran Direfrost Keep Dungeon and you can get the Shoulders piece from Glirion the Redbeard.
